General Questions
Q: What is the All Access Pass?
A: It's a bundle that includes all of our plugins, top third-party plugins, all new plugins that we come out with, and all plugin updates. Rather than pay thousands, the All Access Pass offers plans at $14.99 (Annual Paid Monthly), $19.99 (Month to Month), or $149.99 (Annual Paid Upfront).
Q: What’s the difference between the $14.99 plan and the $19.99 plan?
A: The $19.99 plan is a flexible month-to-month subscription that you can pause or cancel anytime. The $14.99 plan offers a lower monthly rate, but requires a 12-month commitment. At the time of renewal, the $14.99 subscription renews for another 12-month term.
Q: I heard the All Access Pass used to include the Relab LX480. Why isn’t it included anymore
A: The Relab LX480 is no longer part of the All Access Pass, as it’s been replaced by VerbSuite Classics—a powerful reverb plugin developed in collaboration between Slate Digital and LiquidSonics. VerbSuite Classics includes a model of the same legendary reverb unit featured in the LX480, along with seven additional reverb models, offering a broader and more versatile collection in one plugin.
Q: Can I still buy permanent licenses for Slate Digital plugins?
A: YES! With the All Access Pass pricing plans, while it may not make sense, the option is still available. Please go to slatedigital.com/vst-plugins/

A: You can find all the latest All Access Pass Installers here.
Q: All Access Pass Licensing – How do I use the All Access Pass on two computers?
A: The purchase of the All Access Pass comes with two license activations that can be activated to an iLok 2/3 dongle, Machine-ID (local host), or via iLok Cloud.
Please ensure you have the plugins installed on the system as well as the latest version of the iLok License Manager.
Q: I have two iLok dongles—can I activate the All Access Pass on both?
A: Yes! The All Access Pass now comes with two license activations, so you can activate it on two separate iLok dongles if you’d like. This allows you to use the All Access Pass on two different systems at the same time, without needing to purchase a second subscription.
Q: I just purchased the All Access Pass but didn’t receive an iLok activation code. What should I do?
A: Slate Digital does not use iLok activation codes for the All Access Pass. Instead, your licenses are automatically deposited to the iLok ID you link with your Slate Digital account after checkout. Just make sure you linked the correct iLok ID. If you're not seeing the licenses, double-check the iLok account you entered and sign in through iLok License Manager to access them. If you'd like to update your iLok ID on your account, please see: How can I link a new iLok ID to my Slate Digital User Account?
Q: Will the All Access Pass work with an iLok 3 dongle? Can I activate it using Machine ID?
A: Yes! The All Access Pass can be activated to an iLok 2 or iLok 3 dongle, or directly to your computer using Machine ID. iLok Cloud activation is also supported—just keep in mind that it requires a constant internet connection while in use.
Q: What is the difference between the iLok 1, iLok 2, and iLok 3?
A: The iLok 1 (original):
The iLok 2
The iLok 3 (Available in both USB-A and USB-C)
Q: Will the plugins work with an iLok 1 dongle?
No. The plugins can be activated either an iLok 2, iLok 3, Machine-ID, or iLok Cloud.
Q: Do I need an iLok USB dongle to use the plugins?
A: Nope—the iLok dongle is optional. You can activate your licenses in three ways:
-
To an iLok 2 or 3 dongle
-
Directly to your computer using Machine ID
-
Through iLok Cloud, which requires a continuous internet connection while in use
Choose the method that best fits your workflow—no dongle necessary unless you prefer it!

Q: Is the mic software included in the All Access Pass?
A: The microphone emulation software is not automatically included with the All Access Pass on its own. However, if you own a Slate Digital ML-1 microphone, you’ll get access to all the mic model expansions as part of your Complete Access Bundle or All Access Pass subscription.
Please note that the “Classic Instruments” expansion is exclusive to ML-2 microphone owners. All microphone emulations are designed specifically to work with the ML-1 or ML-2 hardware to ensure accurate and high-quality results. Without the corresponding mic, we cannot guarantee reliable emulation performance.
