Provisional iLok Accounts

Q: What is a Provisional iLok Account and how are they created?

A Provisional iLok Account is an account that has been created for you in order to provide an easier way to activate your plugin licenses. 

Gobbler will create an iLok account for all customers who request a free iLok 2 key with their order. This iLok account will be automatically linked to your Gobbler account. The e-mail address for this iLok account is the one you used to register your Gobbler Marketplace account. This iLok account User ID is also the e-mail address you used to create your Gobbler Marketplace account.

Q: How do I access my Provisional iLok Account within the iLok site or License Manager?

Go iLok.com and click "Sign In".

Next click "Forgot your User ID or password" to set up a password for your Provisional iLok account.

Click "Reset your password" and type in the email used to create your Gobbler Account. You will receive an email from service@iLok.com with a link to reset your password.

NOTE: Please allow a few minutes, and then refresh your email. If you did not receive it, please be sure to check your spam folder. 

Once you have successfully set up your password, you can download the iLok License Manager for the Operating System of your choice. 

After finishing the installation, sign into the License Manager with your email and password.

The Slate Digital plugin licenses will be deposited into the Provisional iLok account once you click "Activate" within your Gobbler Account. 

What if I already have an iLok ID? Can I transfer my All Access Pass Licenses to my old account?

In order to transfer your All Access Pass licenses to another iLok Account, you will first need to sign into app.gobbler.com and link your iLok ID with Gobbler. 

To do this, click "My Profile".

Now, scroll down to where it says "Have an iLok account? You can associate it with your Gobbler account here."

NOTE: If you already have an iLok ID linked, you will need to unlink it first before adding a new iLok account. 

Once you have the correct account linked, please contact support and request a license transfer to the newly linked iLok ID. iLok fees may apply.
