How to Activate the All Access Pass To iLok Cloud

What is iLok Cloud Activation?

iLok Cloud allows you to run your Slate Digital plugins without needing a physical iLok or Machine-ID activation. As long as you’re connected to the internet, your plugins will stay activated and ready to go.

  • Users who work on multiple machines.

  • Those with a reliable, always-on internet connection.

  • Avoiding the use of dongles or offline activation.

🌐 How It Works:

  • Licenses are hosted in the cloud via iLok’s servers.

  • An internet connection is required to maintain an active Cloud Session.

  • If the connection is interrupted or the session closes, plugins will stop working until reconnected.


Step-by-Step: iLok Cloud Activation

  1. Download and Install Your Plugins

  2. Install iLok License Manager

  3. Sign In to iLok License Manager

    • Open the app and sign in using your iLok User ID and password.

  4. Open a Cloud Session

    • Click File > Open Your Cloud Session from the menu bar and confirm when prompted.

    • If you're in Automatic Mode (default), all eligible licenses will activate automatically.
