Slate Digital Connect uses your operating system’s default browser whenever you log in. If you want Connect to use a different browser, you’ll need to change your computer’s default web browser.
On macOS 🍎
To change your default browser on macOS:
- Open System Settings.
- Go to Desktop & Dock.
- Scroll down until you find Default web browser.
- Select your preferred browser (like Google Chrome, Safari, etc.).
Once changed, Slate Digital Connect will automatically use the new browser the next time you log in!
On Windows 🖥️
To change your default browser on Windows:
- Open Settings.
- Go to Apps > Default apps.
- Search for and select your preferred browser (like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
- Set it as the default for HTTP and HTTPS links.
After you update your defaults, Slate Digital Connect will use the browser you selected when logging in.
Note: Changing your default browser will also affect other apps and links that open web pages on your computer.
