How to Change the Browser that Slate Digital Connect Uses 🌐

Slate Digital Connect uses your operating system’s default browser whenever you log in. If you want Connect to use a different browser, you’ll need to change your computer’s default web browser.


On macOS 🍎

To change your default browser on macOS:

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Go to Desktop & Dock.
  3. Scroll down until you find Default web browser.
  4. Select your preferred browser (like Google Chrome, Safari, etc.).

Once changed, Slate Digital Connect will automatically use the new browser the next time you log in!


On Windows 🖥️

To change your default browser on Windows:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps > Default apps.
  3. Search for and select your preferred browser (like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
  4. Set it as the default for HTTP and HTTPS links.

After you update your defaults, Slate Digital Connect will use the browser you selected when logging in.


Note: Changing your default browser will also affect other apps and links that open web pages on your computer.
