The video above uses FG-X 2 and Fresh Air as examples, but the same steps apply to the Virtual Buss Compressors (FG-Grey, FG-Red, and FG-Blue).
If any of the Virtual Buss Compressors fail validation in Logic Pro, open the Plug-in Manager from the Settings menu (called Preferences in older versions of Logic Pro). Then, select Slate Digital in the Manufacturers section.
๐ Next, select the Virtual Buss Compressors plugins that failed validation (FG-Grey, FG-Red, and/or FG-Blue) by holding the Command key (โ) and clicking each plugin. Once selected, click Reset & Rescan Selection and wait for the validation process to complete. This could take several minutes.
ย After validation completes, open one of the Virtual Buss Compressors on a track to verify that it is working properly on your system.

After deactivation, drag the license from the Available tab onto the Computer icon to reactivate it.
Once completed, reopen Logic Pro and rescan the Virtual Buss Compressors in the Plug-in Manager again.
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ folder. If they're installed there, click Full Audio Unit Reset at the bottom of the Plug-in Manager. This resets and rescans all of your Audio Unit plugins the next time Logic Pro launches, so it may take some time to complete.Still have questions?
