Experiencing a license issue. What should I do?

If you are experiencing license issues or are running into an activation error please do the following:

First, update your iLOK License Manager app. The latest installers can be found below:

Win: https://installers.ilok.com/iloklicensemanager/LicenseSupportInstallerWin64.zip 

Cloud Activation Users

Follow these steps if your licenses are activated to the cloud. 

1. Open your iLok License Manager and sign into your account.
2. Click File in the menu bar, and select Close Your Cloud Session. This will temporarily deactivate your license.
NOTE: If this option isn't available, skip to the next step.

3. Then, click file in the menu bar, and select Open Your Cloud session.

iLok USB Dongle Activation Users

Follow these steps if your licenses are activated to an iLok dongle. 

If you have your licenses activated to an iLok dongle you will need to "synchronize". You can do this by logging into the iLok License Manager, right-clicking on the iLok dongle icon on the left of the manager window, and clicking "synchronize". Wait for the operation to complete and then open your DAW.
