Troubleshooting License Activation Issues
If you're having trouble with license activation or running into an error, follow the steps below based on how your Slate Digital license is activated.
Step 1: Update iLok License Manager
Before anything else, make sure you're using the latest version of the iLok License Manager. Download the installer for your operating system:

Windows: Download ILM for Windows
Activation Methods
Choose your activation method below and follow the instructions.
iLok Cloud Session
If your license is activated via iLok Cloud:

Launch iLok License Manager and sign in to your account.

In the menu bar, go to File > Close Your Cloud Session. (If this option is grayed out or unavailable, move to the next step.)

Go back to File > Open Your Cloud Session to reactivate your license.
iLok Dongle Activation
If your license is activated to a physical iLok USB dongle:

Open iLok License Manager and sign in.

In the left panel, right-click on your iLok device and select Synchronize.

Let the sync complete, then relaunch your DAW.
Machine-Based Activation (Computer)
If your license is activated to your computer:

Open iLok License Manager and sign in.

Find your license, right-click it, and select Deactivate.

Go to the Available tab, right-click the license again, and choose Activate.
