How To Register Your ML-2A Microphones & Redeem the Software License

If you've just received your Slate Digital ML-2A microphones—congratulations! 🎉 You’re just a few steps away from accessing a full collection of microphone models and more. This guide will walk you through how to redeem your ML-2A license and claim your 3-month free trial of the Complete Access (if eligible).

🎙️ Step 1: Register Your ML-2A Microphone & Unlock the Software

To activate your ML-2A license, please visit the following page:

On this page:

• Enter your ML-2A code, which can be found on the sticker or insert included in your box.

• Enter either one of the two mic serial numbers, which can be found on the bottom of either microphone. 
  • The serial numbers come in matched pairs (same serial ending in A or B); you'll need to use either one of the serial numbers during registration.

• Follow the on-screen steps to complete registration and link the license to your Slate Digital account.

Once registered, your VMS ML-2A license will automatically be deposited to your iLok account.

Note: You’ll need an iLok account to activate the license. If you don’t have one yet, we can create one for you. 

💽 Step 2: Download the Required Software

After registering, download and install the Complete Access Hub (formerly known as Slate Digital Connect) app here:

This app will:

• Install the Virtual Microphone System plugin (required for using the ML-2A mic models)

• Keep all your Slate Digital plugins up to date
