How VMS Access Works
The Virtual Microphone System plugin uses a source microphone workflow. The source microphone you select in the plugin should match the Slate Digital microphone you are using.
- If you own an ML-1 or ML-1A, you would use the ML-1 / ML-1A source microphone options inside the plugin.
- If you own an ML-2 or ML-2A, you would use the ML-2 / ML-2A source microphone options inside the plugin.
The ML-1A and ML-2A already include a perpetual license for the Virtual Microphone System plugin when purchased new, so this perpetual purchase is primarily intended for legacy ML-1 and ML-2 owners who want access to the latest VMS workflow.
