Warranty Information
Hardware Limited Warranty
Slate Digital warrants that its hardware will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years after it has been acquired by the first user, under normal, proper, and intended usage.
Slate Digital will repair or replace nonconforming products (or components thereof) that are returned within the warranty term at no charge. This warranty applies to products purchased from an authorized dealer. You may have additional consumer rights under local laws. Slate Digital will provide two (2) years or the minimum warranty term required by applicable law.
Warranty Recipient
The limited warranty applies only to genuine Slate Digital products when sold by an authorized reseller, distributor, or dealer.
Exclusions from Warranty
This warranty does not cover problems caused by your acts, the acts of others, or events beyond Slate Digital’s reasonable control. Slate Digital does not warrant that use of its products will be uninterrupted or error-free.
This limited warranty does not apply to expendable components and is void if product serial numbers have been removed. Slate Digital has no obligation to repair or replace products damaged as a result of:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper or unauthorized use or repair
- Customer fault or negligence
- Natural or manmade disaster
- Causes external to the products, including but not limited to exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, power outages, or other environmental conditions
Limitation on and Exclusion of Damages for Breach of Warranty
You may recover from Slate Digital and its suppliers only direct damages up to the amount you paid for the product. You cannot recover for loss of present or prospective profits, data loss, business damage, or any other consequential, special, indirect, or incidental damages.
Warranty Procedures
For information regarding your warranty, please contact Slate Digital or your local authorized reseller, distributor, or dealer.
Product registration at www.slatedigital.com is required to process a warranty claim. Proof of purchase will be required to validate your claim.
Hardware may require return-to-factory service. Customers are responsible for properly packing, labeling, and insuring any warranty returns. Damage or loss due to improper packaging or labeling is the customer's responsibility.
Customers must pay shipping/handling one way for warranty product returns, as well as any applicable customs duties, VAT, and other associated taxes or charges for international service.
