Setting the Playback Engine

Navigate to “Live” and select “Preferences”.

Ensure that Audio is selected from the left column and choose VRS8 Input in the drop down menu of Audio Input Device and select VRS8 Output in the drop down menu of Audio Output Device.

Configuring I/O

Navigate to “Live” and select “Preferences”.

Ensure that Audio is selected from the left column and choose Input Config and then Output Config to verify that channels 1-8 are available.

If these options are not available, please check that the VRS8 is properly connected via Thunderbolt and that you’ve chosen “Core Audio” for the Driver Type and VRS8 for the Input and Output Device.
