❗️Could Not Load HeartCore (Kilohearts Bundle)

If you receive the error message above, it usually means there is either:

  • A version conflict between different Kilohearts installations
  • Or a botched installation (often if a DAW was left open during install)

This error typically appears when the standalone Kilohearts installer (from Kilohearts.com) was installed before running the Slate Digital Kilohearts installer, but it can also happen due to an incomplete installation or missing files.

✅ How To Fix It

Step 1: Uninstall the Kilohearts Bundle

First, you’ll need to uninstall all Kilohearts plugins from your system.

🖥 Mac Instructions

  1. Go to Applications > Kilohearts.
  2. Double-click the uninstall.command file inside the Kilohearts folder.

🖥 Windows Instructions

  1. Press the Windows key and search for Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Find the Kilohearts plugins in the list.
  3. Click the three dots next to the Kilohearts entry and select Uninstall.

Step 2: Reinstall the Kilohearts Bundle

Once you have uninstalled Kilohearts completely, reinstall the Kilohearts Slate Digital Bundle from the Offline Installers section here:

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Before reinstalling, make sure your DAW (such as Logic Pro, Ableton, etc.) is completely closed. The same goes for when Slate Digital Connect is in use.
