Uninstall Kilohearts macOS

Please use the Kilohearts Slate Uninstall app found in Applications/Kilohearts/

To preserve user data, our un-installers will not remove some files from your computer. Occasionally, these files can cause problems when updating to a newer version of the plugin. We'll need to manually remove them to see if they are causing the problems you are experiencing.

Go to /Library/Application Support/Kilohearts

If you have created user presets, make a backup of them and delete the associated Kilohearts folders.

Manual Uninstallation

If your computer doesn't have a password, or you receive an error when opening the Kilohearts Uninstall Slate application, you'll need to manually delete Kilohearts from your system.

Navigate to the following directories and delete the plugin files. Delete all kHS plugins as well as Multipass, Snap Heap, Faturater and Disperser from the following locations:

AAX: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
VST: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

Delete the following folder:
/Library/Application Support/Kilohearts
