🔎 Plugins missing from your DAW's plugin list? Start with Plugins Not Showing Up in Your DAW. It covers plugin formats in Complete Access Hub, licensing, and rescanning. Use this article if your licenses look activated but your plugins still aren't recognized.
🔒 Before you start
- Make sure you're using the latest version of iLok License Manager.
- Confirm your plugin licenses are activated to an iLok USB (iLok 2 or 3), iLok Cloud, or your computer (Machine Activation).
- Quit your DAW before following the steps below.
Then follow the steps for where your licenses are activated.
🔑 If you use an iLok USB: Synchronize your iLok
- Open iLok License Manager and make sure it's up to date.
- Right-click your iLok in the left column and select Synchronize.
- Wait for the operation to finish, then open your DAW.
💻 If you use Machine Activation: Deactivate and reactivate
- Open iLok License Manager and make sure it's up to date.
- Click the Computer icon in the left column, right-click the license, and select Deactivate.
- Drag the licenses from the Available tab back to the Computer icon to reactivate them.
- Wait for the operation to finish, then open your DAW.
🔄 Rescan your plugins
If your plugins still don't appear after syncing or reactivating, your DAW may have blocked them during an earlier scan. Rescan your plugins using the guide for your DAW in How to rescan plugins in your DAW.
✅ Tip: Always activate your licenses before installing plugins or opening your DAW. If your DAW scans a plugin before its license is found, it can block the plugin until you rescan.
