Q: Where can I purchase the Classic 87 ML-1 microphone expansion?

Q: Is Classic 87 included in the All Access Pass? 
A: Yes, all ML-1 expansions are in the All Access Pass. However, you will not be able to use any of the expansions unless you own the ML-1 microphone and have the Virtual Microphone System One license activated. The Virtual Microphone System One license is a prerequisite for all ML-1 expansions.

Q: I don't own an ML-1, can I purchase Classic 87?
A: No. Classic 87 requires that you own an ML-1 microphone and a Virtual Microphone System One iLok license. Please view a list of authorized dealers here: http://slatedigital.com/find-a-dealer/

Q: Is Classic 87 compatible with the ML-1 and ML-2?
A: No. Classic 87 is only compatible with the ML-1.

Q: Which microphone models are included in Classic 87? 
SD-87 Ai, SD-87 mk1, SD-87 mk2

Q: How can I activate the Classic 87 license?
A: The Classic 87 license can be activated on an iLok dongle, iLok Cloud Session, or via Machine Activation in the iLOK License Manager: https://support.slatedigital.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010963734-How-can-I-activate-and-use-my-plugins

Q: I'm an ML-1 owner. Is there a trial license for Classic 87?
A: Yes, a 15-day trial license can be found here. This license requires that you own a Virtual Microphone System One license before you can use the Classic 87 trial. 

Q: Will the ML-1 mic emulations work on already recorded material (not necessarily recorded with the ML-1, but for example with other very neutral sounding microphones)?
A: Yes, but we recommend to only use the microphone emulations with our hardware components to ensure the accuracy of the emulation.
