When a dialog shows up with this kind of message:
This is most likely because you are running a version of Slate Digital Connect this has not been approved / checked by the antivirus you are using yet. Because of this, Windows Defender is not allowed to run a part of the program and Slate Digital Connect is locked.
To fix the problem you can temporarily disable your antivirus or Windows Defender. It should not take long for an antivirus program to scan and make sure the software is safe. If this takes several days, please contact support and let us know what antivirus software you're using so we can work on making sure Slate Digital Connect is not detected as a virus.
