⚠️ Important: Temporarily disabling your antivirus is a short-term troubleshooting step only

Be sure to turn your antivirus protection back on immediately after installing Complete Access Hub (formerly known as Slate Digital Connect).

This issue is usually caused because your antivirus or Windows Defender has not yet recognized the newest version of Complete Access Hub. As a result, it may block parts of the program and prevent it from running properly.

To resolve this, you can temporarily disable your antivirus or Windows Defender, install Complete Access Hub, and then immediately re-enable your protection.

Windows Defender settings

💻 Where to find Windows Defender settings:

- Open the Windows Start Menu and search for Windows Security.
- Click Virus & threat protection.
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings.
- You can temporarily disable Real-time Protection here.

Antivirus programs typically scan new software quickly. If this issue persists for several days, contact support and let us know which antivirus you're using — we'll work on clearing it with the antivirus provider.
