The new Complete Access: sonible license collection uses iLok licensing, but at launch it supports slightly different activation locations than the other Complete Access license collections.
In this article
Supported activation locations
At launch, Complete Access: sonible licenses can be activated to:
- iLok Cloud
- iLok USB dongle (2nd or 3rd generation)
Machine ID activation is not currently supported for the Complete Access: sonible collection.
No physical iLok? You can still use the sonible plugins by activating them to iLok Cloud. If you do have a 2nd or 3rd generation iLok USB dongle, you can activate them there instead.
What about Machine ID activation?
Machine ID support for the sonible plugin collection is currently in development.
The sonible development team is continuing work on this functionality, including the development, QA, and testing required across the plugin line. Rather than delay the release of the sonible plugins for Complete Access subscribers, we chose to launch with iLok Cloud and iLok USB support, with Machine ID support planned to follow.
We don't have a firm release date for Machine ID activation at this time. We'll make it available once the remaining development and testing are complete.
October 15 launch-day notice: Don't see your sonible licenses yet?
As part of the October 15, 2026 launch, we're processing a very large number of new iLok license deposits for existing Complete Access subscribers.
Complete Access is now organized into four separate license collections:
- Complete Access: Slate Digital
- Complete Access: Solid State Logic
- Complete Access: LiquidSonics
- Complete Access: sonible
These license deposits and account migrations are automated, but the unusually high volume of requests can cause a delay while iLok processes them.
If you don't see a Complete Access: sonible collection in iLok License Manager yet, your account migration hasn't finished processing.
No action is needed on your end. If you're an existing Complete Access subscriber, it may take up to 24 hours for your new sonible licenses to appear in your account.
Account notification
You may also see the following banner when you sign in to your Slate Digital / Complete Access account:

The banner reads: "sonible plugins are on their way. If you're an existing subscriber, it can take up to 24 hours for your sonible licenses to appear in your account. No action needed."
How do I know when my migration is complete?
Open iLok License Manager and look for the Complete Access: sonible license collection.
Once that collection appears, you can activate your sonible licenses to one of the currently supported activation locations: iLok Cloud or a 2nd or 3rd generation iLok USB dongle.
If the Complete Access: sonible collection still hasn't appeared after the 24-hour processing window, please contact Slate Digital Support and we'll be happy to take a closer look.
