How To Redeem the Free Collection
Step 1: Create or log into your account 📝
Open the Free Collection checkout page. If you're new to Slate Digital, enter your email and set a password to create a free account. If you already have a Slate Digital/Complete Access account, just log in.
Step 2: Complete your order ✅
Review the Terms and Privacy Policy, check the box to agree, and click Complete order. The Free Collection shows as free, so no payment is taken.

Step 3: Download Complete Access Hub ⬇️
We recommend installing the Free Collection with Complete Access Hub. Download the version for your system (Windows, macOS Intel, or macOS Apple Silicon) from our Installers page:

Step 4: Install your plugins 🚀
Open Complete Access Hub, sign in with your Complete Access account, and go to the My Products section. From there, you can install the entire Free Collection in one click, or install plugins one by one.

Once the installation finishes, open your DAW and start using your new plugins. There's nothing to activate.

- Your account Dashboard
- The My Products section of Complete Access Hub

🔑 Why don't I see them in iLok License Manager?
The Free Collection plugins don't use an iLok license, so there's nothing to activate and nothing to show in iLok License Manager. This is normal.
Working on a computer without internet access? You can download each plugin individually from the Offline Installers section of our Installers page.

Is the Free Collection really free?
Yes. The Free Collection costs nothing, and it's not a trial. Once it's on your account, it's yours to keep forever.
Do I need an iLok account or iLok dongle?
No. The Free Collection plugins don't require an iLok license, iLok account, or iLok dongle. You only need a free Complete Access account.
Our paid plugins still use iLok licensing. If you add paid plugins later, you'll activate those through iLok as usual.
Can I redeem just one plugin?
The Free Collection is redeemed as one bundle, so all 16 plugins are added to your account together. You can still choose which plugins to install in Complete Access Hub.
I already have Fresh Air, Heatwave, or other plugins from this list. Do I need to do anything?
Update to the latest version using Complete Access Hub or our Installers page. Versions released on or after October 15, 2026 no longer require a license.
Any existing licenses for these plugins will stay in your iLok account. However, they're only used by older versions.
Do I need a license for Virtual Mix Rack?
Not for the rack itself or its free modules. You only need licenses for the paid modules you want to use. For more details, please see Virtual Mix Rack (VMR) 3 FAQs.
What happens to the Free Collection if my Complete Access subscription ends?
Nothing. The Free Collection plugins don't depend on a subscription, so they'll keep working after your subscription ends.
