After installing the VRS8, I hear no sound through the device from the Pro Tools playback.
This may be due to the I/O settings being setup incorrectly, or the incorrect playback engine being selected. These settings can be changed for a number of reasons and the following instructions will walk you through how to reset these.
1. You will need to ensure that the VRS8 is selected as your Playback Engine within Pro Tools. Simply open Pro Tools and navigate to where it says Setup. From within Setup, click on Playback Engine and make sure “VRS8 Main I/O” has been selected.
2. Next, navigate to Setup -> I/O and click on the Input tab.
3. Delete all of the entries one by one. Once complete, click Default.
4. Please repeat step 3 for the Output, Bus, and Insert tabs (This will re-populate the tab with the correct paths).
