Problem
The E2Deesser Spectrogram or the AirEQ Analyzer are not drawn, and a message is displayed: "OpenGL requirement not match"
Solution
This issue is usually caused by an outdated OpenGL version. You will need to check for graphics driver firmware updates.
Step 1: Check Your OpenGL Version
- Download and install the OpenGL Extensions Viewer.
- Launch the application and take a screenshot of the "Summary" window.
Make sure your OpenGL version is up-to-date.
Step 2: Confirm Renderer Used by the DAW
If your OpenGL version is not outdated, your DAW might be using a secondary renderer instead of your main graphics card. This secondary renderer may not support OpenGL 2.1.
In this case, please contact support with your DAW version and the name of the second renderer, which is visible in the OpenGL Extensions Viewer.
In the example above, "Intel Iris OpenGL Engine" is the main renderer, while "Apple Software Renderer" is the secondary (backup) renderer.
Still have questions?
If you're still seeing this error after checking your OpenGL version and renderer, please submit a support ticket and include screenshots of your OpenGL Summary and Renderer view.
