How To Rescan Slate Digital Plugins In Logic Pro

When a plugin fails validation in Logic Pro X, open the Plugin Manager from the Preferences menu. Then, navigate to the associated plugin manufacturer (Slate Digital, Eiosis, D16 Group, LiquidSonics, etc.) in the Manufacturers section.

NOTE: Please ensure your licenses are activated within the iLok License Manager app.

🔄 Next, select the plugins that failed validation by holding the Command key (⌘) and clicking each plugin. Once selected, click Reset & Rescan Selection and wait for the validation process to complete. This could take several minutes.

After validation completes, open a plugin to verify that it is working properly on your system.

🛠️ Additional Troubleshooting

If a plugin continues to fail validation:

  • Ensure the iLok License Manager app is up-to-date.
  • Try "synchronizing" your iLok dongle: right-click the iLok icon on the left side of the manager and select Synchronize.
  • Note: You must be signed into the manager to perform this action.

After synchronizing, try rescanning the plugins in Logic Pro X again.

TIP: If your plugins are activated via Machine Activation (on your computer), try deactivating and reactivating them.

Please make sure Logic Pro X is closed. Then:

  1. Open the iLok License Manager and ensure it is up-to-date.
  2. Click the Computer icon in the left column.
  3. Right-click your license and choose Deactivate.

After deactivation, drag the licenses from the Available tab onto the Computer icon to reactivate them.

Once completed, reopen Logic Pro X and rescan your plugins in the Plugin Manager again.
