If you're running into issues with the iLok License Manager on Windows or need to reinstall it from scratch, follow the steps below for a clean and up-to-date installation.
Step 1: Uninstall the Existing Version
Open the Windows Add or Remove Programs settings and uninstall PACE License Support Win64. This will fully remove any existing iLok License Manager components from your system.
Step 2: Download the Latest Installer
Download the latest version of the iLok License Manager using this direct link:

Step 3: Extract the ZIP File
Once the download is complete, right-click the LicenseSupportInstallerWin64.zip file and choose Extract All. Inside the unzipped folder, you'll find:
- License Support.exe
- Uninstall License Support.exe
- ReadMe.rtf
Step 4: Install the Latest Version
Double-click License Support.exe to launch the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
Final Steps: Reactivate or Sync Your Licenses
Depending on your activation method, follow the appropriate steps below:
✅ If you're using iLok Cloud:
- Open the iLok License Manager.
- Go to File > Close All Cloud Sessions.
- Once the session is closed, reopen it from the same menu.
✅ If you're using an iLok USB Dongle:
- Locate your iLok dongle in the left sidebar.
- Right-click on the dongle and choose Synchronize.
- This will perform a sync/repair and fix any registry-related issues.
✅ If you're using Machine-Based Activation:
- Find your machine (usually named after your Mac or PC) in the left sidebar.
- Right-click on any problematic license and select Deactivate.
- Go to View > Available Licenses.
- Right-click the license you want to use and choose Activate.
- Select your machine or other available location as the activation destination.
