How To Move a License from your Computer (Machine-ID) to iLok Cloud

Moving your licenses from your computer (Machine ID) to your iLok Cloud session can be done in the iLok License Manager. 

This process depends on whether your iLok Cloud session is in Automatic or Managed mode. iLok Cloud sessions are in Automatic mode by default, but if you're not sure which you're using, please see this article for further clarification

Note: Make sure the iLok License Manager is up to date: https://ilok.com/#!license-manager

Automatic Mode

1. Sign into the iLok License Manager with your iLok ID if you haven't already.

2. Deactivate the license from your computer

3. The licenses are now deactivated. To activate them via iLok Cloud, open your iLok Cloud session (File->Open Your Cloud Session)

Managed Mode



1. Sign into the iLok License Manager with your iLok ID if you haven't already.

2. Deactivate the license from your computer

3. Open your iLok Cloud session, then activate the license from the Available tab
